There are many tasks associated with this hobby that, while necessary, aren’t always the most enjoyable of chores. Changing shock oil, rebuilding differentials, and painting bodies are a few of them. Perhaps the task I dislike the second least (rebuilding shocks will always be my most-loathed task) is gluing tires. Over the years, I have probably glued hundreds of sets of tires, more often than not, doing so the night before a race starts---hunched over the desk in a dimly lit hotel room at all hours of the night and early morning. I have picked up many tips and tricks along the way to help you glue your tires the right way, guaranteeing that you won’t go into the first corner and have all four tires come sailing off the rims.
